Combat in rural area of Meta dismantles criminal structure
In the course of offensive operations against residual organized armed groups, National Army troops, in coordination with the Colombian Aerospace Force and the National Police, fought against members of substructure 39 Arcesio Niño, GAO-r, in the village of Sabanas de San Ignacio, in the municipality of Mapiripán, Meta.
The confrontation, led by the General Command of the Military Forces, culminated in the neutralization of six members of this substructure, including alias Ugly CatThe criminal organization's second leader, Nelson Gabriel Márquez, was identified as Nelson Gabriel Márquez, second in command of the Amazonas Bloc of this criminal organization.
