Italy celebrates Navy Day with moving ceremony at the Quirinal Palace
The future non-commissioned officers of the Marina Militare participated in the traditional Changing of the Guard in honor of the historic deed of Premuda.
A tribute full of history and meaning

A particularly moving moment was the participation of the 26th "ALTAIR" Non-Commissioned Officers Normal Course of the NCO School of Taranto. The trainees, in training for almost two years, performed the change of watch after a rigorous training at the Caserma "Angelo Paolucci" in Rome.
Some of them remained all day on guard duty in the sentry boxes surrounding the Quirinal, while others carried out, to the beat of the Navy band, the ceremonial changeover in front of the main gate of the palace, just at 18:00 hours.
