Ecuador starts inter-force selective to compete in Command Forces 2025

In a ceremony held at the Campo de Marte of the Special Forces Brigade No. 9 "Patria", the inter-force selection process that will define the team of the Armed Forces of Ecuador that will represent the country in the international competition was inaugurated. Command Forces 2025to be held in El Salvador.

Elite evaluation between Land and Naval Forces

After a rigorous pre-selection process in the ranks of the Army and Navy, fourteen military personnel -seven from each component- have been selected to begin this demanding stage. The group is composed of officers and professional troops who will have to demonstrate their readiness under extreme conditions.

Five days of intensive testing

During five continuous days, participants will be subjected to various physical, psychological and technical tests, aimed at evaluating their combat capacity, endurance, discipline and leadership in high-risk scenarios. Only the best will earn a place in the team that will represent Ecuador against elite units from other countries.

Heading to El Salvador

Command Forces 2025 is an annual competition organized within the framework of international cooperation in defense and the fight against terrorism, in which special operations teams from countries in the Western Hemisphere take part. The next edition will be held in El Salvador, and Ecuador aspires to consolidate its prestige in this regional showcase of military capabilities.
