The Galician city hosted the XXIII edition of the 'Circuito Larsa Corre con Nós', an event marked by emotion, sporting spirit and a tribute to those who ensure the safety of all Spaniards.
The Tercio del Norte (TERNOR) had an outstanding presence in the race, both athletically and institutionally. Its Marines not only competed, but also showed the unit's equipment and capabilities to the attending public. Among the TERNOR team participants were Marines Jorge Crespo De La Cruz, José Luis Guerrero Sánchez, Javier Periñán Richarte, Daniel Fernández Martínez, Martín Pérez-Santalla Fernández, Mauro Benavente Marco, Darwin Javier Salazar Franco and Pablo Soba García.
The race was also attended by the Army, the Air and Space Army, the Civil Guard, the National Police, Local Police and firefighters of Lugo. All of them received the recognition of the Councillor for Sports, Jorge Bustos, who publicly thanked them for their involvement in this day of tribute and citizen coexistence.
In addition to the competition, there was an exhibition of military equipment and intervention teams, which allowed attendees to learn about the daily work of the Armed Forces and the State Security Forces. The initiative was very well received by neighbors and visitors.
