The XVI Bilateral Staff Meeting between the Peruvian Army and the Argentine Army was successfully concluded in Lima, strengthening strategic ties and regional collaboration between both military institutions.
The event, held at the Army Headquarters in the Peruvian capital, allowed for the renewal of commitments and the establishment of new lines of cooperation in areas such as joint training, combined operations and support in the event of natural emergencies. The delegations exchanged experiences to face common challenges in the region, reaffirming their interest in greater tactical and operational coordination.
During the official agenda, the Argentine representation visited different military facilities, including training centers of the Peruvian Army. These visits served to learn about the pedagogical and doctrinal approach of the Peruvian units, as well as to share good practices in military training and discipline.
Both armies stressed their interest in continuing to promote peace and stability in South America through training programs, academic exchanges and possible combined maneuvers. The dialogue also included proposals to strengthen their participation in peacekeeping operations and humanitarian actions in the face of natural disasters.
