As part of the Ayacucho Plus Operational Campaign Plan, troops from the Second Brigade of the National Army, in coordination with the National Police and the Sij\u00edn, captured three alleged members of the Clan del Golfo Organized Armed Group. The apprehensions took place in two separate operations carried out in the municipalities of Tenerife and El Banco, in the department of Magdalena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Tenerife, two individuals allegedly belonging to the Sergio Antonio Carrascal G\u00f3mez substructure of the Clan del Golfo were captured in flagrante delicto. The detainees face charges of manufacturing, trafficking or illegal possession of firearms or ammunition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second operation, carried out in the municipality of El Banco, resulted in the capture of aliases Elkin<\/em> o el Negro<\/em>The suspect, who was a member of the Edwin Jos\u00e9 Sierra Regino substructure, is said to have been a member of the organization for more than three years.
