In a key operation against illegal structures, the Military Forces located a war deposit with more than 1,600 cartridges and 35 suppliers in the village of Triunfo II, Meta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The National Army's Task Force Omega, as part of the Ayacucho Plus Campaign Plan and through intelligence work, managed to locate a clandestine camp with two arms depots in a rural area of the municipality of La Macarena, department of Meta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the authorities, this camp would belong to the residual organized armed group known as the Jhon Linares Structure, part of the Jorge Suarez Brice\u00f1o Bloc, which seeks to strengthen its territorial control and illegal activities in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the search of the camp, more than 1,650 cartridges of various calibers were found, both for long and short-range weapons, as well as 35 suppliers that were ready to be distributed. The seized weapons would be used in terrorist attacks against the civilian population and the security forces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All the material was removed from the site under strict security measures and handed over to the competent authorities for the corresponding judicial investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With this result, the Army was able to neutralize a significant part of the criminal plans of alias Calarc\u00e1<\/em>The main leader of this armed structure.
