Accompanied by the Chief of the Defence Staff (JEMAD), Robles stressed that NATO \"can count on Spain\", making clear the position of our country as a solid and committed partner within the organization. With 72 military and 4 civilian personnel deployed in Naples, Spain ranks sixth in terms of personnel contributed to the headquarters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meeting, the Deputy Commander of the barracks, Admiral Stuart B. Munch, praised the professionalism of the Spanish contingent, highlighting its key role both in international missions and in operations such as the Baltic Air Police. The admiral also underlined Spain's capabilities in international operations and its excellent operational reputation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The minister wanted to emphasize that \"there are no speeches or debates that can overshadow Spain's commitment to NATO\". She added that the Spanish Armed Forces \"are enviable\" for their preparation, discipline and international prestige.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Spanish troops in Naples work closely with allies in peacekeeping operations, air defense and strategic planning.
