The Air and Space Army has begun preparations to send 12 tons of humanitarian aid to the civilian population of Gaza. The operation, which will be carried out in the coming days, replicates a similar deployment carried out in March 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the Zaragoza Air Base, military personnel from the 31st Wing and the Operations Command are working on the adaptation of an A400M aircraft, as well as on cargo logistics. The operation includes the airlift of the packages, which will be dropped by parachute and specially designed nets for their safe release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This mission is part of Spain's sustained commitment to the victims of the conflict in the Gaza Strip, which has been experiencing a serious humanitarian crisis since the attack perpetrated by Hamas on October 7, 2023.
