"Prison or hell": Ecuador launches strong message against organized crime

The National Government has sent a strong message to crime: Ecuador's security is not negotiable. This was expressed by the Minister of Defense, Gian Carlo Loffredo, in a speech broadcast on national television and also addressed internally to all members of the Armed Forces. It is the voice of the State, but also the voice of a nation that has said enough is enough.

A new era in the fight for security

The message, clear and unfiltered, marks a turning point in the fight against organized crime. It reflects the vision of President Daniel Noboa Azin: whoever murders, kidnaps, extorts or commits acts of terrorism, will face the legitimate and lethal use of the State's force.

"Our hand will not tremble to defend the lives of Ecuadorians," said the minister, making clear the political decision to act without concessions.

New rules, new actions

Minister Loffredo called on the military to apply the new rules of engagement:

"Use your weapons. Act. We do not ask you to give up your life, we ask you to give up the life of those who kill, traffic, kidnap or murder.

With this mandate, the Security Bloc consolidates itself as the line of defense of a country that seeks to recover its peace and territorial sovereignty.

The homeland calls us

The Armed Forces, deployed throughout the national territory, have been authorized to act with the full lethal force of the State. The priority: to protect Ecuadorian families and restore tranquility to every corner of the country.

"The homeland is calling us, let us conquer the victory that others never dared to dream of", concluded the minister, appealing to the patriotic spirit and the historical duty to eradicate violence.
